"Purchased for a trip where I stayed in a fancy resort but also had to carry my bag over rough terrain. Converting to a backpack is quick and easy and the straps are safely hidden away for planes etc. This is not a backpack suitable for all day hikes but rather a bag that gives you options."

The updated pockets are good and well positioned straps keep it neat. We have used Kathmandu hybrid trolleys for years and haven’t used the back pack straps yet - they are a nice to have.
