"These are excellent pants. Unlike most lightweight, wind proof/ water resistant pants they are both comfortable AND stylish. The pockets are fantastic - big enough to be useful. The side leg zipped pocket is so handy for passport or smaller size phone. I have bought two pairs of these as I fear they are being discontinued . I found the size a little larger than expected, but it gives me room to wear thermals underneath for Euro winter conditions More like this please Katmandu!"

Disappointing purchase

"I have bought Kathmandu's flight pants previously but this pair were different. I felt they had been sized incorrectly. On returning them to the store, I tried on another pair. Same problem! Poor fit. I was told they have altered the fabric and the cut on their new range, but these were nothing like my original flight pants. So disappointing."

Disappointed - sizing has changed!

"I have been a big fan of these pants for work for years however after recent purchases to replace my existing 5 pairs, unfortunately found that the sizing and fit have changed quite a bit. Exchanged the first couple of pairs for the next size in hope they would fit better but again, was disappointed so ended up returning all pairs for a full refund and am now on the hunt for a new work pant."

Perfect Flight trousers

"I never write reviews but must say I’m delighted with these trousers. I bought a version of these many years ago and wore them a hundred times. The fit was perfect for me. I gave up finding them again in the usual hiking shops until looking on line. Took a chance ordering and I’m over the moon with the fit, length and feel of the fabric(size 12 5ft6). What is the length of the inside leg please?
80cm
In one or two photos they look like they have a zip and they are removable that makes them just over the knee. Am I seeing this correctly, for me I just want one length no zip, don't want quarter pants or whatever they are called..
There is no zip off feature to these pants.
What is the difference between the new flight pants and the ones in clearance?
The new style has a bit less Elastane to the material composition and is slightly different in the measurements but not significantly.
