My torso length is 20 inches. Will the Litehaul Pack 38L able to transfer weight to my hip using hip strap effectively?

Yes with this packs Air Pod System (APS) harness and hip straps, you will be able to transfer the weight to your hips. I do recommend popping into your local store to try out the different harnesses available to find the perfect fit for you!

What is the difference between this new season design and the old season design?

The new season design has updated Outer fabric that is bluesign® approved – ensuring environmental friendliness. The pack is cleaner in terms of straps on the outside & and is now compatible with our Litehaul RFID Pod – which fits perfectly in the top compartment

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic Bag with a small flaw Love this bag inside and out. (Haven't used it yet) I have only one compliant to which could only be a design flaw. One of the most important pockets (Laptop/Electronic sleeve) has only 1 zip that is lockable (when you would need 2 to actually lock it) If you want the flexibility of checking in this bag, or leaving it under a bus, you will be hindered by the lack of security to what could be possibly the most valuable pocket of the whole bag. Hoping Katmandu can explain this. The zip and pocket is in a sneaky placement and can be somewhat hidden, although I wouldn't risk it with my valuables 1 zip away. Purchased the 12L Litehaul with it, they both are really great bags.
