If you could only take one jacket...

We asked ourselves: if we could only take one jacket for travel…what would it be? The Benmore is our answer - one jacket you can wear five different ways. The breathable, waterproof ngx2 outer has stretch to move with you and a removable hood. The down inner jacket has zip-off sleeves. Mix and match on the go to create just the right combo of warm and dry for each moment.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality The jacket looks great and is comfortable however the quality was poor, part of the zip broke only after a few months and is not covered by warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Jacket! A friend had purchased this jacket and I saw how good it was and went and got one the following week! It’s so versatile that within a few months of having it I have used it in almost every way. Very comfy, stylish and practical. I did size up as it is a smaller fit than I’m used to, but I think this is more due to the outer having a puffer needing to fit underneath so it just looked squished in my usual size - I would recommend trying on before buying just for this reason. Great colours, and good length too. Definitely a favourite and a wardrobe staple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic!!! I have worn this jacket in rain, snow and -5 temperature with only a fleece jumper underneath. I’ve worn it in Lapland in -25 with a polar fleece and 2 sets of thermals. I’ve worn the jacket without the rain layer in Melb winter days and the vest in all different situations. I’ve also worn just the rain jacket over a jumper without the hood on a cool rainy night in a the city. The fabric of the outer rain jacket is so smart you wouldn’t realise its a rain jacket. It folds into the hood or I bought a Kathmandu med net bag that’s only 25cm long. Best jacket I’ve ever had with so many different ways of wearing it. Highly recommended!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great jacket, not waterproof. I brought this jacket for a trip to Europe, hoping it would be the perfect all in one jacket. I wore it on a cold, lightly raining day and I was very impressed with how warm and comfortable the jacket was, but I was very disappointed to find that it wasn't waterproof as stated. After light rain rain in Dubbo, the jacket was leaking and I was cold within a couple of hours of wear. Still a great jacket, but I'm glad I tested it before taking it to Europe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect all weather jacket even at -2 degrees I bought this for camping, knowing that we were going to be outdoors in 0 to 2 degrees of winter wind and rain. There was a storm in Ballarat and it felt like a -2 degrees celsius. The jacket was perfect- with its light weight, lovely colour, double zips, and most of all, layering feature. I used it as a vest when we were indoors, used it as a puffer jacket when we were dry outdoors and attached the rain jacket ( shell) when it started to pour. The double zip allows me to unzip the bottom part when sitting. The pockets on the external shell are a tad awkward, but good enough to keep cold hands in or storage use for light items like gloves or car keys. My phone is thin but on the large side and there was just enough room to get the pocket zip closed. As it’s a travel jacket which could be rolled up into its own hood, can’t really complain about the pocket size. I think it’s the perfect jacket - it kept me warm, comfortable and dry when I needed it to without the weight and bulk. I wore it with a polartec fleece and merino wool thermals, fleece lined track pants worn under storm pants, warm socks, and waterproof trainers. I’ve worn it around the city too. I highly recommend this product!
