Help us support Pride across Australia and New Zealand in 2020! From January 27 to March 1 and then March 12-22 (Christchurch only), we will be matching customer donations in-store to the value of $10,000.
About the organisations...
All donations will go to Minus18 and Qtopia, two organisations that work to support and celebrate rainbow youth. The next time you are in one of our stores, simply look out for our donation points and help us to support these valuable initiatives.
The Minus18 Foundation is Australia’s youth-driven charity for LGBTIQ youth. For over 21 years, Minus18 has been running high impact LGBTIQ events, workshops and campaigns, creating peer-support, safe spaces and inclusive environments across Australia.
Qtopia is a social service for LGBTQIA+ young people, their whānau and their communities. Using education, advocacy, support and celebration, Qtopia aims to create positive and lasting social change.
What's happening near you?
We are running two adventures over March in Sydney and Christchurch to celebrate Pride, while you can also check out some of the major public events also listed below:
Sydney Hike, Swim, and Snorkel
This microadventure close to the city includes a 10km hike along the coastline and bushland from Manly to Spit. Experienced and enthusiastic guides will take the small group for a swim snorkel* (with snorkel masks included) and then continue along the famous coastal track, basking by the beautiful ocean and native wildlife. This event will wrap up in Spit, with public buses running back to the city and Northern beaches.
This half-day hike will have you exploring The Godley Heads in Christchurch with experienced guides. Highlights include Bill’s Cabin, the Antarctic Hut and Boulder Bay. With three experienced guides, the group can decide which pace they would like to take on this 3-hour walk.
Ticket sales will be donated to Qtopia and your ticket includes a Kathmandu gift, Kathmandu discount vouchers, and three experienced guides.
