This is a 28L pack and i guess that means totally full? which size dry bag shell does it take, Medium or small?

Yes it is a full capacity of 28L. Either the small or medium dry sac would be fine in this pack, it just depends what you are wanting to pack. If you are talking about Pack Rain Covers then I would suggest the small size.

Hi. Is there a keyhole for the hydration bladder tube to come out of the pack or do you need to unzip??

Does this pack differ from the women's Katabatic?

The women's Katabatic pack is specifically designed to fit a Woman whereas this Katabatic is designed to fit a male.
Main differences relate to the harness. The women's Katabatic pack has a shorter back length with a contoured hip belt and shoulder straps that are designed specifically for women’s bodies.

Is this a replacement for the Arc28L?
Ive been asked to find a waterproof rucksack to replace the arc28l. But think that wasnt waterproof?

Sizing wise the Katabatic and the Arc are definitely similar, however, feature wise for a commuter pack you would be more suited to be looking at either the Continga 25L pack or the Cubic 32L pack.

Perfect!I brought it a couple of weeks ago for day walk, it is great so comfortable for ladies - I found the staff at Northlands Mall is lovely & so helpful.
One thing I notice the belt pockets didn't fit my mobile phone but over all these are great for bit bits in the pockets.

Perfect size for day trampBought this pack specifically for a day tramp and it was perfect.. Very comfortable, lightweight. Love having the hip strap pockets for ease of access to snacks, camera etc and the main pack had ample room even with a full water bladder for everything else

I've taken it round the world, works greatMy load is: 4-5 Litres of water, waterproof jacket and overpants, cotton jacket, heavy winter gloves, hat or beanie, snacks, lunch, and my ERB. Occasionally thermals too. This is for mountain hikes that last 4-8 hours, that's my jam.
It's comfy, fits all my stuff, and the pockets are great. Each side pocket gets a 1.5 liter water bottle, each hip pocket gets Muesli bars. The straps noticeably take weight off of the shoulders.
