As a curvy woman I have always found Kathmandu clothing to be slim fitting and too snug. Definitely go up a size if you have curves

Is this jacket waterproof? And Can wear while driving a bike?

This jacket is not waterproof. There is a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish on the outer which encourages water to bead off the fabric's surface however we would recommend this as effective in light drizzle as is water repellent only.

Are these good to wear outside in cold winter Queenstown weather

These are great insulated jackets which are perfect for warmth on cold Winter days! I wear mine all the time in the South Island during Winter are can layer merinos underneath for extra warmth if in alpine conditions. They are excellent for layering and perfect compressed layer to wear under a waterproof rain jacket on those rainy days. Whilst our Heli range are water repellent. These jackets have an outer fabric that has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, this encourages water to roll off the surface, ideal to wear in moist conditions or to protect against light drizzle. If you are after a fully water proof protection then I would recommend a wearing rain jacket over the jacket to be fully waterproof.

Even though it’s light weight is it warm for Melbourne winter. Night walks etc

These are still great warm jackets filled with 600 compressed down for insulation and great for layering underneath on very cold Melbourne nights

I'm normally size 20 womans but can fit some size 18s. Is the size 18 generous?

I'm a size 18 and this jacket is tight still close able but not very comfortable find myself having too look at the mens there 18 is more a 16 at best

Is there a temperature rating for this jacket, e.g. warm up to 30 degrees F, etc.? It probably depends what you are wearing under it but say if you just have a t-shirt on with it?
