Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, making sure to keep the tape under your arms and around your shoulder blades.

Waist: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).

Hips: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.

Inside Leg: Measure from the top of your inner leg along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

What is the difference between this and the Omata  mid weight jacket? (In terms of warmth, weight/bulk)

This is a more technical jacket than the Omata, it’s designed to resist abrasion and repel water & is four times more wind resistant than traditional fleece, this jacket is also warmer & as a result slightly heavier/bulkier.

This jacket is both, plus it has the most marvelous deep pockets! I think it will be a perfect plane jacket for when we are travelling again. The white piping is a bit impractical for the outdoors but it washes and dries well. I LOVE it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ttwisty from White is now grey I purchased this last week, was impressed with it until I washed it. The white trim went grey. So disappointed, wouldn't recommend it if you like the trims to stay white. Looks horrible with the grey trim now.

I have other versions of the Aysen jacket which are just awesome. This version did not meet my expectations. It is not of the same quality and not as durable. In saying that, it's relatively warm and soft.

Only one complaint. The material pills under the arms or where ever there is friction. I would still buy another one if they had my size.
