What is the water resistance rating please? Which pack raincover would have the highest resistance please? Thank you.

The DWR treatment that is used to make this product water resistant does not have an official water resistant rating.
DWR is Durable Water Repellency, it is another way of coating the fabric after a laminate or membrane has been applied to form a protective wall from water droplets on the outer layer so they bead and roll off. A chemical treatment, DWR is not waterproof, but does reduce condensation forming, aiding breathability so less moisture reaches your skin.
All our pack rain covers are designed with DWR treatment so there is not one that is more durable water resistant than another.

multi-purposelight-weight and compact...I have used it as a cushion to avoid sitting on the damp ground, plus wrapped it around my shoulders to break the wind when we have had a quick stop for morning tea...fits adequately over my pack.

BasicPretty basic rain cover, does the job. Could use a cross back strap to secure it properly to a pack, has blown off in VERY strong winds.

Excellent productI bought the cover for my daughter's school bag. It works well and stops her backpack soaking wet in the summer storms and heavy rains.It's so easy to be stored away in her bag too.

Folds up small and lightweightUsed this multiple times on my trek and it was great. I used it with the Katabatic 28L Women's Pack and it was perfect. It was a little too big but with the adjustable drawstring I made it the perfect size. I carried it in the bottom of my pack everyday in case of rain and it wasn't an issue as it folds up so small into it's little connected bag. It's extremely lightweight. Love the logo on it too.

Does the Job!I purchased this pack cover one month ago and have already taken it on 3 hikes in inclement weather. It performed very well. Good design. I particularly appreciate the elastic sides, built in storage bag and toggle tighteners for firmness.
