Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the Backpack Lyf! Bought this backpack for a year of traveling abroad and it’s been fantastic so far! Lots of room, comfortable to carry even for my skinny self, and great feature for zipping the saddles away so to speak for storage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Although the design is really clever, the right shoulder strap broke after only one holiday (3 weeks of backpacking through Romania, no hardship there). My warranty covered it and Kathmandu repaired it free of charge for me. However, now a few years later, I calculated that I travelled a max of 6 months with it all holidays combined, the same strap broke AGAIN and fully. I wouldn't trust it to be repaired again and I simply wouldn't buy a Kathmandu backpack again. I am planning to travel for longer than 6 months again and I need a sturdy reliable backpack, even if that means compromising on the design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great design I bought it almost one month ago, I used it for a 10 day track where I had to take mi tent, sleeping bag, cooker among other things. It was really comfortable! The only problem I had was that one of my zippers broke.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heavy frame Bought this 12 months ago for world travel & trekking. Pretty comfy for regular back packing but it's hopeless for trekking. The 3kg frame makes for alot of hard work - my kit weighed the same as the empty pack.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing After purchase I discovered that it had a new gluon system so none of my older gluon packs or smaller pockets could be used with it. The top lid isn't big enough to comfortably cover the main pack when it's full, and the way it lid clips down on to the side/rear of the pack means that the top of the main section can spill out, especially during transit which I discovered when collecting my pack from the airport baggage carousel... My previous Interloper never had this issue as the top lid clipped down the front of the main pack and easily closed over the main pack even when full. Despite this it was quite comfortable over a 4 day hike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made and loads of features. This is a well made pack with lots of great features. The hip belt is very comfortable. The day pack works well for day trips. I recommend getting the pack fitted in store so it is properly adjusted to your size and shape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Material Bought to travel and material is solid feels like kevlar. really like it, ties down well but the straps are small and lack cushioning, they are okay but needs to bulk more

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cannot buy compatible replacement daypacks! Katmandu do not sell any daypacks with the new style clip attachment!...so I can no longer attach a daypack to the back of this pack! In hindsight, much better off buying another pack with the older style attachment clips so it can be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged....which can happen when travelling.
