    Quick Overview

We asked ourselves: if we could only take one jacket for travel…what would it be?

The Benmore is our answer - one jacket you can wear five different ways.
It's a rain jacket with a down bomber jacket/vest inside. Zip in the bomber or zip off the sleeves to mix and match and create the layer you need. The breathable, waterproof ngx2 outer has stretch to move with you and a removable hood. The down inner jacket has zip-off sleeves. Mix and match on the go to create just the right combo of warm and dry for each moment.

Benmore Women's ngx 5-in-1 Travel Rain Jacket is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful & Warm This is an amazing jacket. I purchased online and had it delivered, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away when I took it out of the packaging. It is so well made, all Kathmandu products are high quality, but this topped every other Kathmandu product I own. It has so many zip options, and its actually much lighter than I expected (it looks heavy, but isn't). It will be perfect for travelling (I bought it for an upcoming trip to Finland), and I'll probably also wear it to work on cold winter days in Melbourne. My only disappointment was that this went on sale for $100 cheaper, only 2 weeks after I bought it. Definitely wait for a sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket!! I bought this jacket in grey a trip to New Zealand and it was perfect. For the rainy days I had the rain coat, if it was a bit cool while raining I had the vest and raincoat combo. On the chilly evenings I had a down jacket to keep me warm and on super windy days the outer layer cut the wind and kept me warm. From day to day I had a vest for a bit of watch of needed. Not only did it it suit all weather conditions it's flattering and very comfortable. It's also great for someone who travels carry-on only 3 jackets held in my hand rather packing or wearing 3 separate bulky items. I highly recommend this jacket .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect morning commute The Benmore 5 in 1 Rain Jacket is my daily go to for commuting to university, running about town and traveling around New Zealand. The down inner is super warm and cosy, and zipping off the sleeves to create a down vest inner is perfect for between seasons. I purchased my Benmore from Kathmandu Masterton about a year ago and have used it most days since. The shell by itself is a great weight for summer and folds up fairly small in my university backpack (The Rove also from Kathmandu). The DWR finish on the outer is still going strong and the membrane is reasonably breathable without the inner! Definitely a versatile jacket for commuters, students and travellers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! Just got this jacket and love it to bits. It's stylish, waterproof, wind resistant and the most flexible jacket I've ever bought. I love the fact that I actually got 3 jackets for the price of one. Adore the attention to detail features, like passport pockets and sealed zips to keep me dry. Glad to finally have found the one that will accompany me on all my travels, from work to mountain top!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great travelling jacket. I wore this jacket on a 4 week trip to Japan during Feb. The inner coast is amazing. I mostly just wore that on its own. It's very warm, feathers do not come out and the fleece pockets really keep your hands warm. The cuffs on the ends of the sleeves do get pilling on them quite quickly. The outer jacket is not as good. Had a few rainy and windy days so i zipped the two layers together. It's really quick and easy to do. Outer layer is a little stiff but keeps the wind and rain out really well. The only disappointing thing is the pockets in the outer raincoat. They are not lined at all so your hands get really cold agains the plastic and it feels horrible. Sizing was pretty standard. I'm an Aus size 12 and got the M. Had enough room to layer a thermal top and a hoodie under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm but light to wear. I've had this jacket for about a month now and I absolutely love it. I wear it all the time, including everyday like just going to the supermarket and walking the dog. Its really comfortable and snug to wear but its not heavy. Because it is 5 jackets in 1 its really easy to turn it into a vest or just the jacket on it own without the windbreaker. Also if you are want to put the sleeves back on, its really easy to zip them back on. I also love the little details in this jacket like the leather strips on the zips and the cuffs. Whoever designed this jacket has put a lot of thought into it. This jacket would be perfect for someone who suffers from sore shoulders or bad back problems and are not able to wear a lot of heavy clothing to keep warm. You can wear a t-shirt underneath or a thin jumper and it could be almost snowing and you'll be warm as toast wearing this beauty. Even though the jacket maybe a little pricey but you are getting 5 jackets in 1 and I have absolute no regrets purchasing this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking jacket but not as warm as expected Great looking jacket but not as warm as I expected. Also the outer layer is a cat fur attractant - needs a bit more of a gloss/sheen on it for us furr baby lovers.
