In terms of warmth, how does the Aysen compare to the Malazan?

While the Malazan has a good bonded high pile fleece backer, the Aysen is four times more wind resistant than traditional fleece which adds to the warmth of the Aysen. The Aysen is a lot more technical and has further features that are suited to hiking or tramping.

Do the sleeves near the wrist have elastic or something that grips onto the wrist? I face the problem that sleeves are too long..

This jacket does not have elasticated cuffs or anything on the wrist however, when you roll the sleeves up they remain in place.

Is the material used Polartec® Windpro®? Is this as warm, breathable and sweat-wicking as the trailhead fleece jacket ( Polartec 100 )?

Yes this is constructed with Polartec Windpro. This is a warmer jacket than the Trailhead 100 with 4 x the wind protection, it is similar in breath-ability & moisture management.
