Ordering & Shipping
You can shop for Kathmandu products online, over the phone, or by visiting one of our retail stores.
We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Kathmandu gift cards for all online purchases.
Purchasing online is a secure process. We utilise Comodo SSL with the highest encryption level to ensure your privacy and security.
Creating an online account gives you instant access to your details for a fast checkout experience. It's easy to set up and allows you to:
enter multiple shipping addresses
update your contact details
change your interests and communication preferences
check your online order history
Online orders can also be made as a 'Guest'. However, if you shop as a guest your details will not be saved and you will not be able to view your order history after checkout.
Updating your details
To update your details online you will need to log in to your account. Go to the ‘Account Overview’ page and select the area you wish to update. Enter your new details and save your changes. If you are an existing Summit Club member and do not have an online account, you can update your details by contacting us or visiting one of our stores and filling out a form.
You can place phone orders with Kathmandu by calling our Customer Service team on 0800 066 5018.
Phone orders can be made between 9am and 5pm GMT, Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays.
When ordering by phone, you will need to provide your contact details, billing and shipping address, Summit Club membership number (if applicable) and credit card details.
For phone orders, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Kathmandu gift cards.
Shipping is free for all orders over £30 made within the UK on www.kathmandu.co.uk. For all orders under £30, we charge a flat rate of £4.
We use Parcel Force services and can deliver to your home address, work or PO box anywhere in the UK. We do not ship to freight forwarders or international armed forces. If you have specific instructions for delivery, please include these when placing your order.
By ordering with www.kathmandu.co.uk, you grant our courier or postal service authority to deliver products on your behalf. You also release Kathmandu from all liability if an incorrect address is supplied or a parcel is stolen from your property after delivery.
Domestic shipping takes 1–3 business days, plus an additional 1–2 days for rural areas. These time-frames cover the processing of your order and delivery by our courier.
Someone will need to be present at the shipping address to accept the order. We cannot leave an order without a signature.
Click and Collect
If you can’t be at home to receive an online order, you can choose our Click and Collect option and pick it up from a store location most convenient to you. At checkout, simply select ‘Collect for free from a store’ and choose from a list of available stores.

Orders placed after 12pm on a Friday or on the weekend will not be dispatched until the following Monday, or first available business day. Orders made within two days of a public holiday or during busy sale periods may take up to an additional five days to be delivered.

Shipping restrictions within the UK
Due to national legislation, some cannot be transported through our delivery provider. This includes (but not limited to) highly flammable items, aerosols, butane, blades, first aid kits, matches or any dangerous articles.
For further information, please refer to the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009 and check with our freight provider Parcel Force.
We offer international shipping to selected European countries from the UK. International delivery is free for Summit Club members on orders over £30. If you are not a current member and would like to receive this benefit, join Summit Club today.
We use UPS for all our international orders. We don’t ship to freight forwarders, international armed forces, or international PO boxes.
International shipping takes 5–7 business days, plus an additional 1–2 days for rural areas. These time frames cover the processing of your order and delivery by our courier.

*International orders from kathmandu.co.uk operate in pounds sterling (GBP). The exchange rate is determined by international credit card providers or banks, who may add an additional processing or administration charge. The international credit card holder is liable for this.
We also offer international delivery to USA, Canada and selected Asia-Pacific countries through our New Zealand website.
There are no import/export duties on goods shipped within the European Union. All goods shipped to EU countries already have the relevant VAT included.
International shipping restrictions
Some items due to size restrictions and international legislation cannot be transported through our delivery provider. This includes (but not limited to) highly flammable items, aerosols, butane, blades, first aid kits, matches or any dangerous articles.
For international deliveries, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. As legislation and policies vary from country to country, please refer to local government sources for more information on delivery restrictions.

We do not ship orders from our Distribution Centre on the following holidays:

Please allow additional delivery times of up to five business days if your order is placed within two days of the above public holidays.
You can check on your order’s status through your account in ‘My Orders’. Here, your order will be displayed as:
Payment Review (your order is being reviewed)
Processing (your order is with the warehouse)
Complete (your order has been shipped)
Closed (your order has been refunded).
If your order is confirmed and its status displays as ‘Processing’ or ‘Complete’, we are unable to make changes to it. For more information, see our Returns & Exchanges or contact us and have your order number ready.
Order confirmation & delivery
When your order has been dispatched for delivery, we will send you a confirmation email. This email includes the freight provider’s name and your order tracking number.
We sometimes split larger orders into separate shipments due to their weight or dimensions. In these instances, you will still only receive one email and tracking number, even for multiple consignments. Please note, it may take two to three hours before your tracking details are available from the courier’s website and you can use the number to track your delivery.
Once your order is collected by the courier, we have no control over it. Any enquiries about your delivery need to be directed to the courier. Please also keep in mind that orders may be held up due to busy sales periods, public holidays or customs delays.
Click and Collect delivery
When you order via Click and Collect, you will receive an email confirming the order has been dispatched and another to let you know when it has arrived in store and is ready for pick-up.
Please bring photographic ID and proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation email) when you come to collect your order. Someone else can collect the order on your behalf – just nominate them when filling out the order form. If you’ve already placed your order and would like someone else to pick it up, please contact us.
Your order will be held in store for a maximum of 14 days. If it is not picked up within this time, your order will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.

Tracking your domestic delivery
To view the status of a domestic order visit Parcel Force and enter the tracking number.
It will take 1–3 business days for your order to be delivered. For rural areas, please allow for an additional 1–2 days to receive your delivery.
Deliveries within the UK require a signature and will not be left if there is no-one available to receive it.
If you have not received your order within the stated delivery time, visit Parcel Force and enter the item’s tracking number. If it is shown as ‘delivered’ you should have received a courier card with details about its location and how to arrange for its collection.
If you have not received a card or cannot locate your parcel, please contact us for assistance.
Tracking your international delivery
To view the status of your international order, visit UPS and enter the tracking number.
It takes 5–7 business days for your order to be delivered to an international address. Please keep in mind delays due to busy sales periods, possible customs hold-ups, public holidays, and deliveries to remote or rural areas.
All UPS deliveries are made during normal business hours and require a signature. If no-one is available to provide a signature, the courier will leave a card with details of how to collect your order or arrange for a new delivery time.
If you have not received your order within the stated delivery-time, visit UPS and enter the tracking number. If it is shown as ‘delivered’ you should have received a courier card with details about its location and how to arrange for collection.
If you have not received a card or cannot locate your parcel, please contact us for assistance.
Gift cards can be purchased online and in store, for any value between £10 and £1000, and are are valid for 12 months.
Reward vouchers & e-gift cards
When purchasing an e-gift card, select the design, amount, personal message and email address you would like the card sent to. ‘Add’ this to your cart and continue shopping. After checkout, the e-gift card will be sent automatically to your nominated email address and can be used online or in-store immediately.
Online reward vouchers and e-gift cards can be used for multiple purchases, both online and in-store, until the balance reaches zero. They cannot be reloaded or exchanged for cash. The expiry date is printed on the gift card or voucher.
Store-issued gift cards
Store-issued gift cards can be used for multiple purchases, both online and in-store, until the balance reaches zero. Cards are activated at point of sale and cannot be reloaded or exchanged for cash. To find the expiry date, check the back of the card.
Redeeming your gift card or reward voucher
Reward vouchers and e-gift cards issued online can be redeemed online and at Kathmandu stores in the country of issue. However, credit notes and Summit Club reward vouchers issued in-store can only be redeemed in a store.
To use your gift card or voucher online, enter its code and PIN at checkout. Click on ‘Redeem a gift card’ and this value will be deducted from your shopping total. Purchases must be made before your gift card or voucher expires.
You can view your gift card and voucher balance online at any time by entering your number and PIN. You can also check your balance in store.
Gift cards or vouchers can be redeemed in total or used as part of payment, and only in the country of purchase. We do not refund cash for any unused gift card or voucher amount. Unredeemed values will remain on the gift card or voucher until they expire. Once the expiry date has been reached any remaining balance will be cancelled and the card will be invalid.
Lost or stolen gift cards & vouchers
Treat your gift cards and vouchers like cash. Lost or stolen gift cards and vouchers will not be replaced or refunded.

Online Only Deals
Online Only Deals are exclusive offers to Summit Club members. Deals are offered for a limited time and only for online purchases. Prices offered in these deals do not apply to in-store purchases. You must be a Summit Club member to get these online deals. If you would like to receive these deals join Summit Club today.
At times, we issue promotional codes for exclusive deals online. If you have received a promo offer and would like to apply this discount to an online purchase, at checkout enter its code in the ‘Apply a promo code’ field and press ‘Apply’. This will activate the offer for you and pricing will be automatically adjusted at checkout.
Summit Club member discounts
Summit Club members receive access to Summit Club exclusives, offering discounts on the regular price of selected items. Summit Club members also receive a £10 reward voucher for every £200 spent.
Summit Club Pricing Terms & Conditions
To be eligible for Summit Club pricing and benefits online you must first log in to your account. This will activate membership pricing and benefits on your purchases. If you are shopping in a store you will need to show your member number at the point of purchase.
Not all promotions are available in store or online. All offers on items, at the advertised price, are also subject to availability at the time of purchase.
Summit Club prices cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including sales, special deals and clearances. Purchase ammounts, however, will still go towards your total spend balance.
